Story
Hi everyone!
On Sunday 20th of November I’ll be lacing up my walking shoes again to clock up 50 KMs of compassion to raise $50,000 for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre.
This year I’m inviting people to join my team - Kon’s Compassionate Crew - and walk 50kms (or a distance of your choice) with me in Melbourne or do your own walk wherever you are in Australia.
If you are walking with me, we will start from CERES Community Environment Park in Brunswick East with a catered breakfast at 7am and then all head off together from there. It’ll be a long and rewarding day of walking!

The Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC) is both a place and a movement.
As an independent not for profit organisation, we are owned and run by our community. Our programs empower people seeking asylum to maximise their own physical, mental and social well-being. As a movement, we mobilise and unite communities to create lasting social and policy change for people seeking asylum in Australia.
We assist over 7,000 people seeking asylum each year from our centres in Footscray and Dandenong, Victoria.
