Story

Hi everyone!

On Sunday 20 November, I am making a difference by participating in the ASRC Challenge: One day, My way, moving for a cause that is close to my heart, the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC).

The ASRC supports people and families with their basic food, housing and medical needs during their journey to safety and freedom; as well as advocating for a fair, just and welcoming Australia.

You can support my Kilometres of Compassion and help me reach my fundraising goal by making a secure online donation. After donating, why not leave a message of support on my page, it's always encouraging to read these before undertaking my challenge!

Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to the ASRC. Any donation, big or small, can help make a difference. Together we will champion hope and compassion.

All donations over $2 are tax deductible and a receipt will be sent to you by email.

Thank you so much for your support!

ASRC Footscray (Asylum Seeker Resource Centre)

The Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC) is both a place and a movement.

As an independent not for profit organisation, we are owned and run by our community. Our programs empower people seeking asylum to maximise their own physical, mental and social well-being. As a movement, we mobilise and unite communities to create lasting social and policy change for people seeking asylum in Australia.

We assist over 7,000 people seeking asylum each year from our centres in Footscray and Dandenong, Victoria.
